Winter League 2023

The winter league has started back and we are already seeing some fantastic netball.

Our new U11 team have played their first couple of matches and are already showing us what great netball players they are.

Marlow Thunderbolts played against GX tornadoes in the junior league and won the match with an amazing score of 33-19

Our Adults A team started the season with a win in their first match against Lynx academy.

Our Adults C team had a brilliant match also and won against Total Tigers 35-23

Looks like its going to be another exciting season

Sunday Junior League End of Season 5/2/23

Another great day of matches with some fantastic end of season results.

Our U14 team Fireflies had a exciting match which saw them ending the season in second place in the league. There was only 1 goal splitting 1st and 2nd place, so couldn’t have been any closer.

U14 silver medal winners

Our U16 team Whirlwinds, entered their final match with 5 points clear at the top of the league. However this final match was still a difficult match against 2nd place GX. Whirlwinds came through with a 27 – 25 win and took 1st place in U16 division 1.

U16 Div 1 Gold medal winners

Junior Umpires

Netball doesn’t stop with playing matches at Marlow Kites, here are 3 of our older girls who are on the final stages of their Umpiring C-award. They have recently been passed to umpire both the Adult and Junior league matches.

Phoenix Tournament 2022

A big thank you to Phoenix and everyone that helped organise a great tournament this weekend, the sun shone and all the girls had a brilliant day.

All teams played fantastically, but we have to say a huge congratulations to our U12s who finished first in their division.

Rushmoor Tournament 2022

Thank you Rushmoor for inviting us to the tournament this weekend.

It was a well organised event that gave the girls some great experience and exposure, such a shame it had to be cut short due to good old Great British weather.

We had our U12 and U16 girls representing us, who all played fantastically and showed determination and commitment even after the rain started falling.

See you all again at the next one 🤾‍♀️
